The Heart as Ultimate Consciousness is the pulsational source of all sound and language. In the depth of the heart the utterance of potential sound arises. From there it develops into the emanational unfolding of all sounds, all phonemes, all words, and the narratives of all possible realities. Unbounded Absolute Consciousness speaks in particular ways to become form, and through increasingly subtle pulsations to reveal its free formless Self back to itself.

During this course, we learn about the Śākta-Śaiva teachings regarding Āgama, the divine revelatory scriptures that were written down. As well, we study śāstra, systems of organized wisdom and knowledge developed by great masters to transmit the teachings of highest wisdom. We explore how language is explained in the revealed text called the Śiva Sūtras and other profound texts such as Abhinavagupta's Tantrāloka and Tantrasāra, the Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra, and Kṣemarāja’s Pratyabhijñā-hṛdayam.  Your study is supported by audios and written materials in which master teacher Paul Muller-Ortega illuminates these ancient teachings and connects them in ways both practical and sublime to our own lives.
