Entering the Heart of Shiva (EHS) is a yearlong program of study and yogic practice, and an extraordinary opportunity to learn from and interact with one of the world’s most renowned experts on Kashmir Shaivism and Hindu Tantra. The focus will be a journey of discovery into the core teachings of Tantric Yoga that can profoundly transform our lives and awaken us to bliss. Paul will offer a deep understanding and experience of the foundational principles of Svatantra, the Tantric teaching of the ultimate freedom of Consciousness. This teaching offers us practical and powerful tools for the great ascending journey into the Heart, tools that can be applied at every level of our lives.
Entering the Heart of Shiva includes three powerful three-day Intensive retreats, where Paul will take students on a journey deep into the heart of Consciousness. These exclusive retreats are not open to the public, and will only be attended by those participating in the year-long program. This program is restricted to approximately 40 students so that Paul can work closely with each one.
In addition, Paul will conduct approximately two
teleseminars each month. These teleseminars
will be held on a weekday evening. During these
two-hour tele-classes, Paul will take students
through a systematic study of the Svatantra
teachings and practices. Important passages
from the scriptures of the Shaiva tradition will
be explored and given a larger context for
deeper and more refined understanding. Each
teleseminar will also focus on specific aspects
of advanced practice. All teleseminars will be
recorded and available for download.
All students are expected to engage in daily practice, reading, contemplation and journaling. Students will receive exclusive materials and publications from Paul, and have access to recordings of other teaching events Paul will do throughout the year. Each student will also be following a course of self-study guided by Paul and supported by a study group and senior students who have graduated from this program.
